Marketing Gifts Discovery

I’ve been involved in the automotive industry for quite some time now. My family had a repair shop when I was a kid. Now, I’m into trading cars. Admittedly, advertising my shop has always been like hell for me. If not for my old friends who are also into cars, my business could have easily closed a long time ago. Good thing for me, my recent trip abroad made me discover some pretty good promotional marketing gifts for my business.

My wife and I went Manila last month to visit her parents. On our way to their house, I saw a couple of gas stations with a lot of cabs lined up in front of them. Man, I just thought whatever they are doing with their marketing really pays off. I was so intrigued by it that I decided to investigate. To my surprise, I saw promotional marketing apparel products given out to those who buy gas at a certain amount!

We’re talking her of accessories, pants, and other stuff, not the usual t-shirts that we often see here. The gas station also gave away promotional marketing auto accessories for the top customers of the month! Imagine that. Auto parts as giveaways. Genius!

No wonder the line of cars were so long. The reason was how they invited people to come over. Whoever thought of that idea is brilliant. Now that I’m back, I want to tweak the idea up a bit for my business. I’m planning to give out winter gifts, since it’s very cold now. I have a hazy idea of how it will work, but I know that it will work good for me and my business.
